Deborah Nazon, Ph.D., is a member of NYSDRA’s Community Mediation Service Corps (CMSC) AmeriCorps Program providing “capacity building” services in support of the vision and mission of the organization.
With over twenty years of combined executive level experience in academia and government, Dr. Nazon has extensive knowledge of non-traditional economic models, inter-group relations, cross-cultural and multi-stakeholder engagement and is the Founder and President of EcoDiverCities, LLC, a heart-centered, research centric consulting business committed to being a co-creator of sustainable and intergenerational wealth in urban communities.
Dr. Nazon received her Ph.D. in Ecological Economics and MS in Geology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and her BS in Biology Education from Cheyney University of Pennsylvania.
She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Tech Valley Center of Gravity, The RED Bookshelf, and the Meyerhoff Parents Association at the University of Maryland Baltimore County. Dr. Nazon is also a member of the Albany District (NY) Chapter of the Links Incorporated, a national and international non-for-profit volunteer service organization established in 1946.
